Are your pieces food-safe?

Yes! All food ware pieces (such as mugs, bowls, plates) are food-safe!
The only surfaces that aren't food safe are the exterior surface of vases.

Do your pieces contain lead?

All my glazes are free of lead and other heavy metals.

Are vases water tight? What does it mean?

Yes! All my vases water tight. You can fill the inside with water and decorate with flowers.

Are your pieces dishwasher and microwave safe? What about oven safe?

All my pieces are dishwasher safe. However, I would recommend you handwash them as much as you can. Temperatures in dishwashers can be veryy hot and may affect the appearance of glazes over time.

All pieces are microwave safe. However, please microwave at lower temperatures and for less time than your usual industrially-made ceramics. Stoneware clay can get very hot, so watch your fingers!

My pieces are not oven safe, I do not recommend you put them in the oven.

Where do you make your ceramics?

All the pieces are made with care by myself in my little home studio in Toronto, Canada.
‍

How long have you been doing ceramics?

I took three classes in October 2020 and joined a membership studio under the guidance of Michelle Organ in Toronto, until I opened my own space in summer 2021.

What are the pieces made out of?

With care for responsible manufacturing, the pieces are made using local stoneware clays extracted in the nearby regions of Northern Ontario.
‍

Where are your glazes from?

All glazes are concocted in my studio. I don't use commercial glazes, instead I mix them myself with raw materials from recipes I've researched and developed.
